Our family has been farming in Craigantlet since 1922. We opened McKee’s Farm Shop in 1999, selling simple items and home made food.
The response from the public was phenomenal, so we set about transforming some of the farm buildings into a first class traditional Country Store and Restaurant, which opened in 2005.
We now employ 60 staff - 9 cooks and chefs in our kitchen, 25 table staff and 15 in the Country Store.
At the heart of our success is our absolute commitment to the best local produce. All of the meat served in our Country Store was reared on our home farm and neighbouring farms. All of the veg is sourced locally, and all of the food served in the Restaurant is made freshly every day in our kitchen.
